Lesotho is generally a very safe place with very friendly locals. There is no malaria or bilharzia and the tap water is generally safe to drink. Lesotho is a truly amazing place, but as with all places, it carries its risks. It is a very remote country and some places are very difficult to get to. Also the nature of mountain biking and the untouched rugged terrain have their own risks. As a result the Lesotho Sky and its associates cannot be held responsible for any accident, injury or illness whatsoever. It is compulsory that riders have a comprehensive medical aid that will pay for injuries, illness etc. in Lesotho or from incidences that occurred in Lesotho.
